Grave of the Greater Poland Insurgents

At the parish cemetery by the Church of the Holy Cross (Bohaterów Bukowskich Street) there is a collective Grave of the Greater Poland Insurgents. It holds participants of the 1918–1919 uprising — among them Stanisław Fręśko, Stefan Kaczmarek, Antoni Napieralski, Walenty Napierała, Marcin Różański, Andrzej Sobiesiak and Ignacy Terczewski — as well as insurgents of the 1848 Spring of Nations. Buk raised two of its own companies in the Greater Poland Uprising. The grave is listed in the register of war graves and cemeteries of the Greater Poland Provincial Office.
