The present town hall was built in 1897–1898 in an eclectic style with strong Neo-Renaissance influences; the masonry was done by G. Kosicki and the carpentry by Carl Ritter. The previous town hall stood in the middle of the market square and burned down in the great town fire of 8 June 1858, after which the seat of the authorities was moved to its present location. The red-brick building is decorated with a rusticated ground floor, pale window surrounds, triangular gables and a corner clock turret; the town coat of arms is set in the gable. The town hall houses the Buk Town and Municipality Office and is listed in the municipal heritage inventory.
