Description

This two-storey building on Stanisław Reszka Square was raised in the early 19th century as the seat of a Prussian county court; the upper floor held jail cells. During the Spring of Nations in 1848 participants of the Polish national movement were imprisoned here, as a plaque on the facade records. It shows the plain official architecture of the Prussian partition. Listed in the monuments register on 24 February 1970; today it is used for housing.
