Lake Niepruszewo

Lake Niepruszewo is a tunnel-valley lake of about 242 hectares (nearly 5 km long, up to 5.2 m deep), stretching north to south on the boundary of the Buk and Dopiewo municipalities. It lies in the Warta basin, with the Samica stream flowing through it. The low, marshy shores are an important habitat for water and wetland birds; there are resorts and bathing areas in Niepruszewo and Zborowo. It makes a good finish for a longer cycling route around the Buk region.
