Church of St Lawrence in Niepruszewo
Open in the app →Description
The masonry parish church was built in 1580, founded by Łukasz III Górka, voivode of Łęczyca and Poznań. It blends late-Gothic and Renaissance features with later Neo-Gothic and Rococo additions. Inside are three Rococo altars and a pulpit from the second half of the 18th century, a 17th-century crucifix and a Renaissance grille in the chapel; in 1836 the Sierakowski family added a Neo-Gothic St Anne funerary chapel. Beside the church stands a listed bell-tower gate from 1782. The church itself is among the oldest monuments in the municipality.
