Description

From the 17th century Niepruszewo belonged in turn to the Biliński and Krzycki families, and from 1870 until World War II to the German house of the Reuss princes (von Reuss). It was for them, after 1870, that the present eclectic palace with a columned portico was built. Behind the palace, on a slope descending to Lake Niepruszewo, lies a landscape park of about 4.5 hectares with mature trees, remnants of a hornbeam avenue and monumental limes; an ornamental gate from the late 19th century leads into it. The complex was listed as a monument in 1973. The palace and park remain in private hands; the best view is from Starowiejska Street.
