What turysta.uk is

turysta.uk is a free web application (PWA) — an audio guide to the monuments and routes of {{REGION}}. It runs in the browser, can be installed on a device, and works offline once the region's data is downloaded.

Using the app

The app is intended for tourism and educational purposes.
Use it safely: watch the road, not the screen — descriptions start by themselves so you don't have to walk head-down.
Some described sites are on private property — view them from the public road and respect residents' peace. Admission and accessibility information is given with the sites where known.
Do not modify the app or use it in a way that disrupts its operation or the underlying infrastructure.

Content and copyright

The application code and the descriptions, teasers, quizzes, translations, coordinates and other content prepared for the app are © turysta.uk, all rights reserved.
Map tiles, route geometries and some outlines come from OpenStreetMap and are provided under the ODbL 1.0 licence — see Licences and attribution.
You may use the app for your own purposes; copying, redistribution or commercial use of the content without permission is not allowed.

Liability

Historical data has been prepared carefully from the sources listed with each description, but the app is provided "as is", without warranty of completeness or uninterrupted availability.
Routes follow public roads and paths; assess conditions on site and follow signs and the weather. Navigation is not a substitute for care.
We are not liable for the operation of third-party services (map servers, the hosting provider) or for consequences of using the app contrary to these terms.

Reports and contact

Please report errors in descriptions, missing sites and comments to {{E-MAIL}} — we edit the data by hand. Digital accessibility is covered by the Accessibility statement, and vulnerability reporting by the Security page.
